how to conquer love handles at the barre
Get to know our teaching style at Passion Barre in Rancho Cucamonga as we show you how to target Obliques, Legs, Arms and the Bottom in this simple Triple-Quadruple-Threat Passion Barre workout sequence! Enjoy seeing J “let it all out,” haha!
You’ll need a sturdy chair to serve as your “barre” with the seat placed against the wall, or a solid table to lean on for this sequence. Remember our joint safety and engagement principles: squeeze and contract before you move!
P.S. If it’s been too long or you haven’t had a chance to try our Passion Barre classes yet, we’d love to host you. Freedom and the sweet after burn has been spreading like a wildfire since we introduced Rancho Cucamonga to the barre! Your first trial class is only $15, or you have the option to try 3 Classes for $30 – and we’ll be donating a portion of that to our partners who rescue women and children from human trafficking, so click here to reserve.
In Southern California, we serve Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, Fontana, Ontario, Claremont, Montclair, Corona, Eastvale, Mira Loma, Riverside, Pomona and other surrounding cities. See you at the Barre.
Human Trafficking Awareness Barre-a-thon
Human Trafficking/Modern Day Slavery is an issue that you might have started to hear about. But more than just a buzz, the shocking reality is that there are estimated to be 27 million in the world who have been forced into labor and sex. This is an estimated 32 billion dollar industry, and the average price of acquiring a slave is $90!
We are passionate about Freedom and Inspiration at Passion Barre and Karingah; and we believe that:
Freedom has often come, and can only come, as a result of the free becoming distressed by the captivity of the enslaved.
Individual freedom is still being threatened, and we want to raise louder voices this month with other abolitionists worldwide.
Many thanks again to all who came on Saturday, January 24, 2015 for a free community barre class during the first ever Barre-a-thon for human trafficking awareness month. Your presence made it impactful and we got to learn so much with conviction. Thank you for filling up the classes and going above and beyond the suggested class donation. Thanks to all who shared 24 cards and held 7 conversations with their communities about the Barre-a-thon as well. And thanks to all who committed to attending 24 times in these 7 weeks!
Here’s to your health, and their freedom!
In the meantime, if you missed the Barre-a-thon event, you can still donate!
Please click here to read our story and give; or drop off your cash or check donation at our Terra Vista location:
10582 Foothill Blvd., Suite 120
Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730
We’re located at the Joy Fountain Courtyard between Target and Hobby Lobby.
Proceeds from our Barre-a-thon and overall Fight for Freedom 24/7 Giving Challenge go directly to empower our partners’ work in rescuing women and children from slavery. So to Give freedom, Just show up 🙂
This time, we’re focusing our giving efforts on projects by A21 Campaign and The Exodus Road through our partner, Pearl Alliance.
Also, if you’ve never heard of Human Trafficking; or you have heard, but didn’t think it was possible to make a difference; please reflect on this short clip on top 10 human trafficking facts and how you can help end slavery in twenty five years!

Barre Reléve for a Stiletto Lift
How to do a ballet Relevé properly in a simple sequence to get a low-impact, butt lifting and leg defining barre workout. Just grab the back of a chair and try this at home. It’s one of our very favorites during a barre workout.
P.S. If it’s been too long or you haven’t had a chance to try our Passion Barre classes yet, we’d love to host you in class. The sweet after burn has been spreading like a wildfire since we brought the barre to Rancho Cucamonga! You get to try your first class for only $10, so click here to reserve 🙂

A part of our philosophy lies in meeting people where they are, and going together to meet others where they are. Our class style is “organic” in nature, filled with ambassadors we’re always so privileged to workout and fight for freedom with. Supportive of each other, yet uniquely diverse, we create an environment that demands health and authenticity, through joy and inspiration – breaking out of comfort zones, driven by potential and destiny; but leaving out the jockish competitiveness that often makes relationships cringe.
Again, we have a world to impact and we want to co-brand with you and the community through “FIT-FOR-FREE” to reach out and bring freedom to the captive. So, just show up. That’s half the battle.

When the weather is really cold, there are several things people have done over the ages to warm up. For the sake of this analogy we’ll assume in the United States that you can just turn up the heat on your thermostat. After a short while, you’ll start to warm up.
As I sat in my car in the Southern California heat waiting for an appointment, I had my air conditioner on full blast. Then out of concern for idling for too long, I turned it off and it amazed me how very quickly my car heated up and I started to burn up… um, air on please! But it reminded me of how cool (no pun intended) it is that once a certain type of energy is applied to an otherwise heated environment, one can change the temperature in his or her immediate environment. But once one neutralizes that energy, the temperature of the environment presides over him or her once again.
I heard it well put years ago by Jimmy Evans from Marriage Today, and our ambassadors will probably remember us talking about this in class. In a nutshell: there is dynamic energy, static energy and destructive energy. Static energy is really energy “unclaimed or unused” and can only remain static for a time. It will eventually be claimed by another energy force. The easiest one being destructive, because it’s easier to tear down than build up. Picture a neutral object like a pen lying flat on a table. As soon as the table is tilted or it’s legs are wobbly, will that pen go up, or go down?
Pastor Diego Mesa of Abundant Living Family Church also shared a good example in line with this thought: “Thermometers merely reflect the temperature in an environment, whereas thermostats regulate the temperature in the environment.”
So as you gear up to enjoy your summer, be a thermostat in a real sense. Set and regulate the temperature around you. Be deliberate and aware of your state and attitude, remembering that remaining neutral keeps you subject to the temperament of those around you. If they’re happy, the good thing could be that you might feel happier after being in their presence (we’d like to think that’s what you experience after a Passion Barre class :). BUT if they’re down, you might wonder why you’re feeling a low for no exact reason…
And just in case you haven’t heard, here are a couple of quick big Passion Barre and Karingah! updates:
Here’s the sale you’ve been waiting for: We are kicking off a summer special where the “Perfect-12” Package is now $120, instead of $168 for a limited time only.
